Nick Lowe is set to return with his first new studio album in 11 years, Indoor Safari. Along with the announcement, he’s released a new music video for the album’s lead single, “Went to a Party.”

Recorded alongside Lowe’s longtime collaborators, Los Straitjackets, Indoor Safari will arrive on September 13th via Yep Roc Records. Among its 12 songs will be new originals, covers, and a few “refitted” versions of previously-released singles. It will be Lowe’s first new album since 2013’s Quality Street: A Seasonal Selection for all the Family. Check out the album artwork and full tracklist below.

The single, “Went to a Party,” marks Lowe’s first official co-write with Los Straitjackets, and features a “sock hop soul” sound. Watch the new music video for the single below.

Meanwhile, Lowe is booked for several upcoming performances, including a handful of solo dates with Ron Sexsmith, and a run of shows alongside Los Straitjackets. On June 29th, he will perform a set at Wilco’s 2024 Solid Sound Festival. Grab tickets here.
