"What do you give your firstborn son for his Golden Birthday? A trip to do what he loves the most at two of the best roller coaster parks on planet Earth!!" Nick wrote in his caption.
"Cam, my roller coaster junkie, Happy Twelfth Birthday. I love you more than you’ll ever know and being your Dad is the greatest joy of my life. Here’s to another year of being thrown upside down into a barrel roll at nauseating speeds over and over with you!! I love you buddy!!"
Vanessa also posted for Camden, sharing throwback photos of the newly minted 12-year-old, as well as a sweet photo of the two together. "Happy 12th (Golden… Diamond) Birthday Camden John Lachey! I can (and will) kiss you forever!!! ???????????????????????? 9/12/12," she sweetly wrote in her caption.
Nick and Vanessa are also parents to daughter Brooklyn, 9, and son Phoenix, 7.
In August, Vanessa shared on Instagram that she and her family of five were saying goodbye to the Aloha State after three years of living there. The move came after the cancellation of NCIS: Hawai’i, on which Vanessa has played Jane Tennant since 2021.
Upon their exit, the mom of three snapped a photo of a pink plumeria flower left alone on the ground — and her son's sweet reaction to the image deserved its own Instagram Stories post.
"I showed this pic to my son, he said 'Wow Mom, that says so much without showing a lot,' " she wrote over the photo. "I said, 'What do you see?' He said, 'We are moving, but we are not sad. I see happiness and Aloha coming with us.'"
"(?? forever with us!!!)" the proud mom added.
