Nicki Minaj Is Hella Pressed Over Megan Thee Stallion’s Apparent ‘Hiss’ Diss
Nicki Minaj has been spiraling ever since she listened to Megan Thee Stallion’s new song “Hiss.”
Megan released the track on Friday, and received an almost immediate reaction from Minaj, who seems to believe she (and her convicted sex offender husband) are being dissed in one particular lyric.

In the hours since the drop, Minaj has tweeted several times about Megan, calling her a liar, a flop, all while claiming she doesn’t “condone ‘bullying.'” In a 3,100-character post on X Friday and an Instagram Live Thursday night, Minaj took aim at Megan, seemingly claiming the rapper lied about being shot by Tory Lanez.
“Horrible ACTOR that can’t cry on cue don’t try to act bookie it’s a chop,” Minaj wrote. “Pathological & manipulative liar.”
The night “Hiss” dropped, Minaj teased a song on Instagram Live where she raps, “Bad bitch, she like 6 foot, I call her Bigfoot, the bitch fell off, I said get up on your good foot.” Minaj giggles after the line, and later tweeted photos of her feet. Lanez was sentenced to 10 years behind bars for shooting Megan in the foot.

Although it’s unclear which lyrics in Megan’s song “Hiss” are about Minaj, fans believe she’s mad at the line, “These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law.” The lyric references the federal legal requirement that convicted sex offenders appear on a registry. Minaj’s husband was convicted of attempted rape by force or fear in the mid-Nineties and served four years behind bars. In 2021, he was sentenced to a year under home confinement, along with probation and a $55,000 fine, for failing to register as a sex offender in California.
Petty violated his probation and was placed on house arrest once more for “making threatening remarks towards a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record” in September 2023.
“I don’t really know what the problem is, but I guarantee y’all don’t want me to start,” Megan continues in the bar. “Bitch, you a pussy (You a pussy), never finna check me (Yeah)/Every chance you get, bet your weak ass won’t address me.”
Megan went on The Breakfast Club Friday morning and said the song was for “these bitches and hoes alike, men or women.”
“Every time one of these motherfuckers uses Megan Thee Stallion name, they get 24 hours of attention,” she said, before adding, “I’m saying, a hit dog gon’ holler. That’s it. Whoever feel it, feel it.”
In her uber-long post on Friday, Minaj listed some accolades for Pink Friday 2, before comparing the success of Barbie‘s “Barbie World” to Megan’s “Hell No!” from The Color Purple. She also accused Megan of winning “fraudulent awards,” likely referencing her Grammy wins since Megan has three while Minaj has none, and repeatedly described the Houston rapper as a “flop.”
“Using ghost writers & still SUCK,” Minaj wrote. “So it’s not me, y’all. I would never.”
She then claimed to be a “classy lil rich lady” and blamed her shade toward Megan on her gay man alter ego, Roman. “#Roman seems to be in one of those “moods” now,” she wrote. It’s unclear when the two rappers started beefing. They collaborated in the summer of 2019 on “Hot Girl Summer” with Ty Dolla $ign following the success of Megan’s Fever.
