Nicole Scherzinger Favors Shades of Blue and Brown in Michael Kors and Cult Gaia to Promote ‘Sunset Blvd’
Nicole Scherzinger opted for two complimentary hues while promoting “Sunset Blvd” in New York on Friday. The singer makes her Broadway debut in a new adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical, which is based on the 1950 film starring Gloria Swanson.
Scherzinger stopped by “Good Morning America” in a sleeveless knit Cult Gaia dress. Featuring o-ring cutouts and a boat neckline, she paired the skintight frock with embossed patent leather pumps.

Hairdresser Gonn Kinoshita styled Scherzinger’s dark tresses in waves, while makeup artist Keita Moore gave her pink blush, brown eye shadow and a muted mauve lip.
Scherzinger later changed into an all-blue ensemble, which consisted of a sleeveless turtleneck top and Michael Kors trousers. White Gianvito Rossi pumps and black sunglasses topped off her second look.
Speaking to “GMA” host Michael Strahan, the former member of The Pussycat Dolls described starring in “Sunset Blvd” as “a dream come true.”
“A lot of people don’t know that my background is musical theater,” she said. “I went to performing arts high school. It’s my first love. I just love being able to communicate and tell stories through song in the most honest way, and what an amazing, unbelievable, unique production to be able to it.”
Scherzinger also discussed her role in the sequel to Disney’s “Moana,” which premieres in November. The singer returns as the titular character’s mother, Sina.
“It’s an honor to be a part of, to be returning,” Scherzinger said. “I’m proud to be of Hawaiian descent and I’m proud of the story, the depiction that Disney has done, the representation for the Polynesian people and I think for my role, I was deeply inspired by the beautiful women of my family and my ancestors.”
