NLE Choppa Opens Up About Celibacy And The Benefits Of Semen Retention
NLE Choppa recently reiterated that he is celibate and broke down why he masturbates without letting himself ejaculate.
“I would say I’m celibate. I’m not giving my energy to everybody, like, you feel me,” the 21-year-old said during an appearance on Zach Sang Show. The Memphis rapper continued by explaining his method of semen retention and the benefits that it affords him. “I whack the willy, but I don’t cum though. I semen retent, so like before I cum I pull it back.” In other words, he does not allow himself to reach his climax.
Choppa explained that when a man prevents himself from having an orgasm, it allows semen to flow freely through their bloodstream and up to their spine, yielding more energy. He outlined the process of doing so, which included firmly touching a “tube that connects from your balls and your gooch” and taking a deep breath.
In addition to having more energy, NLE Choppa said that this act gives him a clearer mindset by reducing his sex drive. The “Shotta Flow 7” artist also boasted about his healthy diet consisting of juices and salads, which helps his mind stay even clearer. Watch his interview on the Zach Sang Show above.
Celibacy has been a recent trend in the entertainment space, as Lenny Kravitz, Julia Fox, Omarion, and more have all stated that they are holding themselves back from sex. For the “Slut Me Out” artist, he has been pushing this message for a few years now. “I’m liquid fasting til the 21ST who with me,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter) in December 2021. “No food, No Sex, No Stressing. Only juices low in sugar, teas, and plenty of water.”
In March 2022, Choppa simply tweeted “Celibacy *purple heart emoji* *open hand emoji*.” A few months later, he went a bit deeper into the benefits of celibacy. “It’s important for men to go celibate,” he wrote. “When the genitals act as if it has a [mind] of its own that’s a problem. You must be able to have self control over your second head. That’s true discipline *100 emoji*.”

Now, of course, this all may be confusing to those who don’t listen to NLE Choppa’s interviews or read his tweets, especially with two of his biggest recent songs being “Slut Me Out” and “Slut Me Out 2.” The latter has become a viral hit and presents some contradictory information to his claim of semen retention.
“Bi**h, is we f**kin’ or what? (Or what?)/ Ayy, you suckin’ or what? (Or what?)/ Ayy, let me nut on your butt (Ah),” he raps. A few lines later, he adds “In my head, I’m f**ked up/ Suck on my Glock ’til it bust (Bop)/ Suck on my balls, a must (Bop, bop).” Nonetheless, outside of the music, Choppa’s message is resonant.
