'There is no greater love': Naomi Campbell welcomes her first child
Naomi Campbell: Supermodel, actress, trailblazer and now mother.
Campbell, 50, announced on social media Tuesday that she welcomed her first child, sharing a photo of her holding the new baby's feet.
"A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother," Campbell wrote on Instagram and tagging her mother Valerie Morris-Campbell in the photo. "So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love."
Celebrities and fans alike congratulated the new mother.
"Omg!! Congrats mama! Love you," Ryan Destiny commented on Instagram
Actress Zoe Saldana wrote: "oh my goodness congrats lady! What a blessing!!!"
Fashion designer Marc Jacobs also expressed his excitement at Campbell's new baby.
"Oh my God!!!!! Today is the day?? How absolutely incredible. How lucky she is and how lucky you are! What a wonderful Mother you will be. Blessings all around," he commented.

The supermodel spoke about her relationship with her own mother last year as she was quarantining alone, telling USA TODAY she "would have loved to have gone home, but I had to bear in mind my mother is in remission of cancer, my two grandmothers are older."

Distance didn't stop her from calling on mom though. Campbell said though she's not a tech-savvy person she set up Zoom so she could call her mom for help with recipes she loved as a child.
Will her journey to motherhood become a bestseller? Campbell previously teased an upcoming memoir in her Vogue cover story for the November 2020 issue.
“I had this old-school way of looking at it as having to put pen to paper,” she said to the outlet, before explaining she got advice from music executive and producer Clarence Avant for the project. “I asked him, ‘Clarence, How do you do it? How do you start writing?’ And he told me, ‘Just start from anywhere. Don’t start from the beginning.’ So it is going to happen!"

Campbell's newest addition to the family comes a few months after the death of her godson, Harry Brant, a rising model who died from an accidental drug overdose at age 24.
In a moving Instagram tribute, Campbell admitted that "it’s taken me a few days to get my head around this to digest the fact my beautiful godson Harry Brant has gone to the spiritual world." She added, "Harry, you’ve taken a piece of my heart."
