Noah Centineo Might Be in Talks to Lead 'Masters of the Universe'

As Avengers: Endgame caps off an era of Marvel heroes, a film based on a throwback toy is diving in to fill that empty space. Sony Pictures and Mattel films are looking to create Masters of the Universe and according to The Wrap, newly minted teenage heartthrob Noah Centineo is in talks to lead the cast as He-Man.
To quote Dodgeball, “It's a bold strategy, Cotton.” Centineo is as charming as they come, but before he steps into that blonde bob and harness, he’s going to have some serious weight training to do. The actor launched into stardom last year after back-to-back lead roles in To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and Sierra Burgess Is a Loser. An action (figure) hero would be a huge next step for his career. And if Centineo is bold enough to wear anything similar to what Chris Pratt did when he parodied the action hero on Saturday Night Live, we say more power to him.
He-Man rose to prominence in the early '80s, spawning his own line of comics, a toy, a TV show, and a film. DC Comics picked He-Man up in 2012 for a new limited run of stories as well. No solid confirmation yet on Centineo’s casting, but it’s at least a teaser of what we can expect from the Sony and Mattel collaboration.
