Bonehead Says Oasis May Reunite

Headline of the week, courtesy of NME: "Liam Gallagher 'would reform Oasis tomorrow,' says Bonehead."

Of course, the Bonehead in question is none other than Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, one of the founding members of Oasis. According to the guitarist, the only thing preventing an Oasis reunion is Liam's brother Noel Gallagher.

"I'm sure Liam would do it in a shot tomorrow," Bonehead said. "But you've got to listen to what Noel says. He's not up for it, why does he need to? He's flying around the world, isn't he?"

The animosity between Noel and Liam is legendary. Before the group broke up in 2009, Noel called Liam "rude, arrogant, intimidating and lazy" in an interview with 2009 interview with Q magazine.

Not to be outdone by his brother, Liam filed a lawsuit against Noel. The younger Gallagher brother took offense to Noel stating that he canceled a 2009 gig because of a hangover. Liam later dropped the lawsuit -- "It's not nice suing your family but, like I said, he was telling porkies for the sake of his mates and journalists to get a wisecrack on me," he said -- but Noel is still quite upset about the legal row.

"He shouldn't have f--king tried to sue me should he?" Gallagher told NME earlier this week.

So, no Oasis reunion tour then?

"Not even if all the starving children in the world depended on it," he said. "I know it's the done thing these days and what people do, but it's not what I do. I know bands reform and 'They're bigger than they ever were' and 'They're more successful than they ever were,' but Oasis were one of the biggest bands in the world."
