Oasis Reunion Tour Will Not Include Glastonbury 2025 or ‘Any Other Festivals Next Year,’ Says Band

Amid all of the excitement surrounding Oasis’ reunion, the band has put one widely spread rumor to bed.

“Despite media speculation, Oasis will not be playing Glastonbury 2025 or any other festivals next year,” the band said in a statement posted to social media. “The only way to see the band perform will be on their Oasis Live ’25 World Tour.”

As of now, that tour includes 14 shows in the U.K. and Ireland, including four dates at Manchester’s Heaton Park and four at London’s Wembley Stadium. But, a press release announcing the band’s reunion specified that “plans are underway for Oasis Live ’25 to go to other continents outside of Europe later next year.”

Since Oasis famously headlined England’s Glastonbury in 1995 and 2004 — and considering the 2025 festival dates are just days before the band’s first reunion show on July 4 in Cardiff, Wales — fans speculated that the Gallagher brothers might actually make their triumphant return on the iconic Pyramid Stage.

After teasing an announcement for a couple of days, Oasis officially announced their long-awaited — and seemingly impossible — reunion on Tuesday. After more than a decade of bitter feuding, Liam and Noel Gallagher posed together in a photo for the first time in 15 years and put out a joint statement: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

Tickets go on sale for Oasis Live ’25 at 9 a.m. local time on Aug. 31.
