Olivia Culpo Has Picked the Perfect Vibe for Her Post-Super Bowl Wedding to Christian McCaffrey
There’s been so much chatter about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at Super Bowl LVIII, but there are other cute celebrity-athlete couples who shouldn’t be ignored. Olivia Culpo, who is engaged to San Francisco 49ers running back Christina McCaffrey, is thinking about the Vince Lombardi Trophy and her post-season wedding.
As a former Miss Universe, Culpo “had a hard time picking out the perfect dress since she’s worn so many gowns,” but an Us Weekly source promised that “she found the one.” That gorgeous gown also has to complement the vibe that they are going for which is “elegant and luxurious” and will take place sometime in the “offseason.”

The couple got engaged in April 2023 after dating for four years during a vacation to Utah — and even their cute dog, Oliver Sprinkles, made an engagement cameo. Their romance was surprising in the beginning because the 31-year-old model had a no-athlete dating rule, but rules are meant to be broken. “He’s just the best, I feel like he is really everything that I could ever ask for,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “So I never have to worry about anything. I think that was the reason why I didn’t want to date an athlete, no offense because there is a reputation there.”
Culpo believes that her 27-year-old fiancé’s family is what sold her on their future together. “He just comes from a great family. We have a lot in common in that respect. I feel like you can really tell who a person is by the people that raise them, and I just love his parents so much,” she added. “They have a great relationship.” And it seems like Culpo has a lot of respect for her future mother-in-law, Lisa McCaffrey, because she made waves for purchasing a very expensive Super Bowl suite for her as a birthday surprise.
The former title holder is grateful the experiences she had before McCaffrey becuase she believes her former relationships, including time spent with Nick Jonas and Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte, led her to the man of her dreams. She told People, “I think every single relationship teaches you so much about yourself, and I definitely have an appreciation for my relationship now that I would never have because of all of my past experiences, so you have to be grateful for the rough s**t.”
