Olivia Munn Shares Rare New Look at Baby Mei & She Is the Cutest Little Cuddler

Pure bliss is the best way to describe newborn baby cuddles. Their squishy cheeks, tiny hands that curl around your finger, and heavenly scent — we can’t get enough! Olivia Munn’s baby Méi June is brand-new, and the happy mama is soaking up all the cuddles with her cute little smush. She shared rare new photos with her baby girl, and her happiness is radiating!

“I can’t believe she’s here!” Munn, who shares Méi and son Malcolm, 2, with husband John Mulaney, wrote on her Instagram story on Saturday, per PEOPLE. She shared a photo of her newborn baby, who she welcomed via surrogate this month. The happy mama is relaxing on the couch in a maroon sweater and jeans as she holds a swaddled baby Méi in her arms. All you can see is Méi’s full head of brown hair as she rests in her mom’s arms, but you can already tell she is so adorable.

The Hit-Monkey actress also shared a video of her snuggle session. In this one, Méi slept in her mom’s arms in her cream-colored swaddle. Her little cheeks look so soft as she peacefully snoozes away. In text over the video, Munn explained that she was trying to get “Méi’s little breaths” in the clip, but her mom and Mulaney were too loud eating “new candy” in the background to really hear it. Last month, Munn announced Méi’s birth and shared the first photos of her on Instagram. “Méi June Mulaney came into the world September 14, 2024, the year of the dragon??,” she wrote.

Munn, who has been open about her breast cancer journey, which included a complete hysterectomy and oophorectomy to remove the uterus and ovaries and reduce the chances of cancer recurrence, added, “I had so many profound emotions about not being able to carry my daughter. When I first met our gestational surrogate we spoke mother to mother. She showed me so much grace and understanding, I knew I had found a real-life angel. Words cannot express my gratitude that she kept our baby safe for 9 months and made our dreams come true.”

“I am so proud of my little plum, my little dragon for making the journey to be with us. My heart has exploded,” she added.

In a previous interview with Vogue, the Newsroom alum shared her complicated feelings on surrogacy. “When you’re pregnant with your own baby, it’s like teamwork — you and the baby working together to make their little life come true,” she told the outlet. “You’re doing all this work to eat well, try to not have anxiety, just do all the right things during the pregnancy. With a surrogate, you have to try to go find a version of yourself somewhere out in the world. Somebody that you trust as much as yourself to live their life as a pregnant woman the same way that you would.”

“But a surrogate isn’t a scary prospect to me anymore because there’s nothing I can do. I don’t have the ability to carry a baby anymore, so if we want to build our family, this is our option,” Munn continued. “This journey has made me realize how grateful I am to have options for not only fighting cancer, but also having more children if we want, because I know a lot of people don’t have those options.”

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter how our babies get to us. All that matters is the love and care we show them once they do, and Munn seems to have that under control!
