OMG 2, aka Oh My God 2, marked the official sequel to the 2012 film. The film franchise touches on sensitive societal issues in the most creative way. Its first installment was also a success and attracted many viewers. After calling out people’s superstitious beliefs in the first movie, the sequel discussed the importance of sex education in schools. The Akshay Kumar starrer was released on the big screens in August 2023 but received mixed reactions. The movie was already available to stream on Netflix in Hindi, so it has now been released in four more languages.

OMG 2 features Pankaj Tripathi in the lead role alongside Akshay Kumar, who played an avatar of Lord Shiva. Moreover, Yami Gautam, Arun Govil, Aarush Varma, Pavan Malhotra, and more played supporting characters. Helmed by Amit Rai, the movie became a sensation among the audience. The movie’s massive box office collection worldwide allegedly reached $28 million. While it was theatrically released only in Hindi, it is now available in multiple languages.

Where to stream OMG 2 in Telugu & Tamil?

OMG 2 arrived on the OTT giant Netflix in Hindi within two months of its exclusive theatrical release. After eight months, the movie has finally been dubbed in various languages. Besides Hindi, the film is now available to stream in Telugu, Tamil, Bangla, and Marathi on Jio Cinema.

As different cinemas in India are breaking down the language barrier, several movies are being dubbed in various regional languages.

The official synopsis of the movie on Jio Cinema reads, “Vivek Mudgal experiences guilt upon being expelled from school due to an embarrassing viral video. His father, Kanti Sharan Mudgal, staunchly supports his son and seeks legal assistance to prove his innocence. Will his efforts lead to success?”

Whether a third installment in the film franchise will be made has not been confirmed.
