One Direction Drag Me Down video: The boys go to space
One Direction has the right stuff in the new video for “Drag Me Down.” The group released the video for their hit song late Thursday, which shows the boys — Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan — playing astronauts preparing for a space mission. (As Payne wrote on Twitter, the group actually shot the visuals at NASA’s Johnson Space Center.) “Drag Me Down” marks One Direction’s first music video without Zayn Malik, who left the group this year.
One Direction is set to release a new album in November. “It carries a slightly new identity, but I think it’s an obvious change from [Four] in a positive way,” Styles told EW this year when asked what fans can expect. “We’ve branched out and worked with different writers, and we’ve got some great songs!”
