One of Taylor Swift’s Best Friends Is Reportedly 'Concerned' Over Her New Romance With Travis Kelce
Like any two best friends, Selena Gomez has some thoughts about her best friend Taylor Swift‘s new relationship with Travis Kelce. And although most of the internet is already backing “Traylor,” sources are now indicating the Only Murderers in the Building star is quite hesitant about it all.
“Selena thinks Taylor going to games and galavanting through New York immediately after just meeting Travis is something that is very unlike her,” a source recently told Page Six. In fact, Swift’s most recent relationships, with actor Joe Alwyn and 1975 vocalist Matty Healy, stayed mostly under the radar. “Historically, Taylor’s always been super private about everything, and now with this [relationship], she’s so open about it that it’s just very odd for Selena,” the source explained.

And before rumors start swirling that Gomez and Swift are feuding, the source cleared the air by saying the two stars are “not in a fight.” “It didn’t come from a malicious place, and it’s not that she doesn’t like them together,” the source said of the Selena + Chef star. “She’s just concerned about the way it’s being navigated.”

According to the source, Gomez’s reaction to Swift and Kelce’s fast-paced relationship has even played a part in Swift’s friend group recently. “Selena just doesn’t want to be part of the media frenzy because it’s really chaotic,” the source said, indicating that Gomez turned down attending any of the Kansas City Chiefs games with Swift.

“That’s why the people she normally has these amazing relationships with weren’t [at Swift’s girls’ night out with Blake Lively, Brittany Mahomes and Sophie Turner],” the source added, noting that the Haim sisters also agree with Gomez.
And although Gomez and the Haim sisters are more than correct is looking out for their friend, and speaking out about their concerns, it’s seems like Swift isn’t letting their concern deter her relationship.
Most recently, sources even indicated just how long-term Swift is feeling about Kelce. “This is fate coming to rescue her from all those losers she’s kissed in the past — and she’s doing everything she can to impress his family and closest friends,” an insider recently told RadarOnline. “Taylor’s always wanted a wholesome high school athlete type and Travis checks the box big-time. He has so many qualities she likes, and she’s thrilled he comes from a solid, family-oriented background, just like her, and she’s absolutely blown away by his parents.” Hopefully their connection will soon prove to Swift’s friends that they have nothing to worry about.
