Owen Wilson and Ed Helms have both had big success pairing up with partners in hit dude-centric comedies — the former in Wedding Crashers and Shanghai Noon, the latter in the Hangover series. So it seems like no surprise they’ve now paired up as bros driving off for an epic road trip in January 2017’s Bastards, which now has its first trailer online (watch it above).

Directed by Lawrence Sher, best known for cinematography on movies including Garden State and The Hangover trilogy, Bastards will focus on two grown siblings (Wilson and Helms) who, while attending the wedding of their mother (Glenn Close), learn that she’d made up everything they thought they knew about their dearly departed father. Worse still, she’s not even sure of their real dad’s identity. Thus, the two set about on a Mamma Mia!-style quest to find their father, which brings them into contact with J.K. Simmons, Ving Rhames, and NFL Hall of Fame QB Terry Bradshaw, playing himself.

Also co-starring Katt Williams as a weirdo hitchhiker the duo pick up on the side of the road — and then tie up, because they suspect he might be a serial killer — Bastards will deliver what appears to be a familiar brand of guy’s guy humor when it debuts in theaters on Jan. 27.
