Remember the iconic Handbook for the Recently Deceased from the 1988 classic? Well, you can get your own copy, and you can see the sequel in theaters in time.
Handbook for the Recently Deceased
$12
For those who don’t know, this book was a part of the 1988 film starring Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin, a recently deceased couple who try anything to get the new tenants, the Deetz family, out of their home, and things go awry as they ask for the help of a trickster named Beetlejuice, played by Michael Keaton.
And in the sequel Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, we’re fast-forwarded to 36 years after the events of the first film. The young Lydia Deetz, played by Winona Ryder, is now a mother to a daughter who basically hated her: Astrid Deetz, played by Jenna Ortega. After the Deetz dad passes away, the family goes back to the house from the first film; and as you can imagine, things go awry as Beetlejuice and many other ghosts enter their lives.
Now, back to the Handbook for the Recently Deceased: this bestseller is an encyclopedia of all things from the movie, and has the iconic cover from the original prop. With 236 pages, it talks about both the film and the afterlife, which makes it the perfect gift for Beetlejuice fans everywhere; and shoppers agree!
One shopper even wrote, “If you love the Beetlejuice movie and are looking for a souvenir from the movie look no further. This book is perfect. Unlike other similar books where just a few pages are written or the cover is just a sleave this book has it all.”
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is now in theaters.
