Palm Beach Improv names comedians for lineup at Kravis Center in West Palm Beach

Four big names in comedy have been announced as part of the lineup for the Palm Beach Improv at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach.

The latest comedians coming to the Kravis' Marshall E. Rinker Sr. Playhouse are Ian Bagg on Sept. 13-14 at 7 and 9:30 p.m.; Lavell Crawford on Nov. 8-9 at 7 and 9:30 p.m.; Jay Mohr on Nov. 15-16 at 7 and 9:30 p.m.; and Big Jay Oakerson on Dec. 20-21 at 7 and 9:30 p.m.

More comedians will be announced throughout the season, the Kravis Center said in a news release.

The Kravis Center and the Palm Beach Improv announced their partnership last year, with the Kravis providing a home for the comedy venue after its previous location in CityPlace was demolished and before its new location in the under-development Tuttle Royale project in Royal Palm Beach is completed.

The theater offers snacks and drinks, including a full bar, in the lobby for each Palm Beach Improv show, the Kravis Center said.

Tickets for Bagg, Crawford, Mohr and Oakerson's shows go on sale at 10 a.m. June 21 at kravis.org. Tickets may be bought over the phone at 561-832-7469 or in person at the Kravis Center Box Office from noon to 5 p.m. Monday-Saturday at 701 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach.
