Pals of Dave Grohl’s wife feel ‘sorry’ for her, question if she ‘knew’ rocker was cheating before baby bombshell
Dave Grohl’s wife is leaning on her close friends after the rock star revealed he cheated and welcomed a baby with another woman; however, one insider exclusively tells The Post that some believe she may have known about his infidelity long before he came clean.
The source shared that everyone feels “sorry” for Jordyn Blum, who has been married to the Foo Fighters front man since 2003, adding, “She’s a nice, wonderful woman.”
Despite the world being shocked about his infidelity that recently produced a love child, the source said some in their orbit think Jordyn “knew” that Grohl had strayed in their marriage but wasn’t aware of the extent of it. They also wonder if this was the only time he cheated.
The Post reached out to Grohl’s rep for comment.
The “Monkey Wrench” musician dropped the bombshell earlier this month, revealing his adultery and sharing that he recently welcomed his fourth child, a daughter.
Grohl already shares three daughters with Jordyn: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.
“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” Grohl’s statement via Instagram on September 10 read. “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”
He concluded, “We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”
Grohl’s alleged behavior toward the opposite sex has been an issue during their 21-year marriage, sources spilled.
“Dave’s flirty behavior has been a hurdle in their marriage. It’s been hurtful to Jordyn,” insiders told People, revealing how Jordyn reacted when she found out about the baby.
Not everyone connected to the couple was surprised by the news.
“We keep reading over and over again how heartbroken everyone is because Dave was supposed to be the ‘good guy,’ the rock star that didn’t have to do those rock star things,” the source claimed. “And people are crazy about the guy, but there is a rock star side.”
Amid the scandal, Daily Mail alleged Grohl was “jealous” of Jordyn’s “flirty” relationship with her “hot” tennis coach; however, sources with direct knowledge denied the allegations to The Post.
“There’s nothing going on with her tennis instructor,” our insider exclusively shared. “He’s married and his wife is Jordyn’s friend.”
Grohl’s wife stepped out on Tuesday, September 17, marking her first outing since Grohl came clean.
In the photos exclusively obtained by The Post, Jordyn was seen leaving a tennis lesson with that instructor, and she was not wearing her wedding ring.
This isn’t the first time she’s gone ringless in the last few months.
Jordyn was not sporting her diamond sparkler when she was photographed with Grohl in August. The pair attended Wimbledon in London together in July and appeared to be in good spirits; however, the Foo Fighter allegedly retained a divorce lawyer before telling the world about his love child.
Little is known about the baby, but someone came forward and posted a since-deleted picture of an infant and claimed the rocker was the father. After the image made the rounds, Grohl’s rep told TMZ that the image was fake.
