Pamela Anderson Revealed Who She's Currently Having a 'Love Affair' With & We're So Happy for Her
After decades of having her love life in the public eye, Pamela Anderson is having a “love affair” with the most important person in her life — herself.
The actress, 57, opened up about being embracing being single and falling in love with herself during her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on October 22. Anderson appeared on the show without makeup to celebrate her skincare brand, Sonsie, and gave us all a self-love lesson.

Barrymore, who has been transparent about enjoying the single life since her 2016 divorce, revealed to an incredulous Anderson that she’s been single for seven years. “You’re single?” Anderson asked.
Barrymore, who split from Will Kopelman after four years of marriage, responded: “Seven years. What about you?”
“Yeah, well, variations of single, I guess,” Anderson replied. “I don’t know. No, I’m not even thinking about that right now. I’m just thinking about this whole love affair I’m having right now with just life and myself and getting to know myself… I’d be a better partner anyway.” Amen to that! We love this new self-love era Anderson has been championing since her career resurgence.
Barrymore also echoed Anderson’s stance, sharing her own experience with being single. “I do notice that a lot of people do act weird when I say I’ve been single for seven years, like as if it’s a little taboo and I feel exactly the way you do,” she said.
“It’s actually been by choice and really empowering and I thought that one day when I choose to be in a relationship, I’m going to be very excited to show all I’ve learned about what it’s like to be on my own and be a very whole person going into a relationship.”
Anderson’s most recent public relationship was with her former bodyguard Dan Hayhurst who she married in December 2020. At the time, sources told People that they had “been together for awhile.” In January 2022, a representative for the actress confirmed that they had split.
In September, Anderson told Glamour that she has spent recent years focused on self-love and self-discovery. “This last couple of years…it was an effort to just stay alone and figure out what I love, what I like, what I want to do,” she said.
