Paradise Renewed for Season 2 at Hulu

Paradise is not lost: The twisty thriller has been renewed for Season 2, Hulu announced Thursday.

The renewal news comes ahead of the show’s Season 1 finale, which is slated to begin streaming on Tuesday, March 4.

Paradise stars This Is Us alum Sterling K. Brown as Secret Service agent Xavier Collins, the man tasked to keep President Cal Bradford (played by James Marsden, Westworld) safe. When the president is killed in the series’ premiere, it unleashes a mystery that puts everyone in Collins’ small community on edge.

And that’s about all we can tell you before we get into spoiler territory, so if you haven’t watched, please heed this [Spoiler Alert] and skip to the next paragraph. OK: As those viewers who are current on the series know, the final moments of Episode 1 revealed that Collins and the president are living in a town created in a cave under the Earth’s surface because a catastrophic event destroyed all life topside, adding a unique twist to the presidential murder-mystery plot.

Paradise was created and is executive-produced by Dan Fogelman (This Is Us, Pitch). In addition to Brown, who is also an EP, and Marsden, the cast includes Julianne Nicholson (Mare of Easttown), Sarah Shahi (Sex/Life), Jon Beavers (Animal Kingdom), Krys Marshall (For All Mankind) and Nicole Brydon Bloom (The Gilded Age).
