Park Shin-Hye K-Drama List: Doctor Slump, The Heirs & More
Park Shin-Hye is a 33-year-old South Korean actress and singer, popular for her roles in Korean dramas. She is set to appear in a new Netflix K-drama, Doctor Slump, opposite Park Hyung-Sik.
Park Shin-Hye started her acting career as a child actor in Stairway to Heaven (2003) and Tree of Heaven (2006). So far, she has given many well-known K-dramas, including The Heirs and Pinocchio, to her viewers. In 2015, she ranked 33rd on the Forbes Korea Power Celebrity list and will continue to rank under 40 till 2022.
In personal life, she married Suspicious Partner actor Choi Tae-soon in January 2022 and gave birth to their first child in May 2022. Meanwhile, the actress is all set to woo her fans once again with her acting talent in her upcoming K-drama Doctor Slump.

Doctor Slump
Doctor Slump is Park Shin-Hye’s upcoming drama that will premiere on Saturday, January 27, 2024, on Netflix and JTBC. Alongside Park Hyung-Sik, the rom-com is the lead actors’ second venture together after The Heirs.
In Doctor Slump, Shin-Hye plays a workaholic anesthesiologist, Nam Ha-Neul. She hits a slump when she realizes that she never had fun in her life. On the other hand, Hyun-Sik’s Jung-Woo is a well-known plastic surgeon but hits a rough patch when a mysterious medical accident occurs. They both meet each other during the worst phase of their lives. Interestingly, the characters were rivals in high school, but their current situation will make them each other’s comfort partners.
The Heirs
The Heirs is a 2013 Park Shin-Hye K-drama alongside Lee Min-Ho, Kim Woo-Bin, and Kim Ji-Won. The story revolves around Cha Eun-Sang and Kim Tan, who meet in the US and develop feelings for each other. But Eun-Sang returns to Korea.
Kim Tan, who was exiled to the US by his brother, also comes back and begins to look for Eun-Sang. He is a wealthy heir of a big company, while she is the daughter of his housemaid. Living under one roof of a big mansion, they initially don’t see each other. The rich family helps Eun-Sang enroll in an elite school where Kim Tan goes. Despite several obstacles, the lead characters fight to find their way back to each other.
The K-drama is available on Netflix under the title Inheritors.
Pinocchio
Pinocchio is a 2014 South Korean drama starring Park Shin-Hye as Choi In-Ha and Lee Jong-Suk as Choi Dal-Po. It is the story of two best friends who enter the world of journalism for different reasons.
In-Ha suffers from Pinocchio syndrome, which prohibits her from lying. Hence, she finds it difficult to find a job in journalism. Dal-Po grew up with In-Ha under a false identity after his family was ruined because of a news channel. He hates journalists but decides to pursue it to help In-Ha achieve her dream.
The series is available on Netflix.
Doctors
Doctors is another Park Shin-Hye K-drama where she plays the role of Yoo Hye-Jung. Her and Hong Ji-Hong’s (Kim Rae-Won) story begins as a student and teacher in high school. They know each other because she is his neighbor’s granddaughter. Their closeness becomes a part of gossip in high school.
13 years later, they meet again as neurosurgeons at the same hospital. While she wants to avenge her grandmother’s death, he wants to help his first love. Aside from them, the K-drama also stars Yoon Hyun-Sang, Lee Sung-Kyung, and Ji Soo. The K-drama is available to stream on Netflix.
