There have been no official details on the premise of the spinoff beyond the vague original logline of the Yellowstone franchise continuing the exploration of the Dutton family dynasty past and present with new locations and characters, as well as some crossover characters.
According to TVLine, the offshoot is rumored to follow wealthy matriarch Stacy Clyburn and her family as they leave New York City and head to Montana in the wake of her husband and brother-in-law’s tragic deaths in a plane crash.
Production on the new series is slated to begin later this month for a 2025 premiere. It will follow the final episodes of the mothership Yellowstone series, which will debut Nov. 10.
Adams recently launched a Suits rewatch podcast with Sarah Rafferty following the series’ streaming success on Netflix. He will be seen in the Netflix limited series Wayward and on the Fox anthology series Accused. Adams is repped by CAA, The Rosenzweig Group, and attorney Lev Ginsburg.
