Pete Davidson Dons Vans Sneakers, Talks ‘Horrible’ Tattoo Removal and New Movie ‘Dog Man’ on ‘The Tonight Show’
Pete Davidson has been busy promoting his new animated flick based on Dav Pilkey’s children’s graphic novel, “Dog Man,” in New York City. The comedian and actor chatted with Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show” yesterday and then stopped by the Empire State Building with Pilkey on Friday.
Last night, Davidson layered a chestnut brown suede jacket featuring fringe detailing from the brand Found over a black long-sleeve T-shirt, laid-back jeans in a medium blue wash, and classic black Vans Authentic sneakers. True to form, the “Saturday Night Live” star paired the beloved skater style with quirky neon green socks.

The $55 sneakers first launched in 1966, the same year the Anaheim, California-based brand was established. Today, the timeless lace-up silhouette is offered in a variety of colorways, materials, and designs.
Davidson tied his relaxed yet stylish look together with a simple gold chain around his neck and a green camo hat emblazoned with the eco-friendly message, “Save the Trees.” During his interview with Fallon, the stand-up discussed getting his approximately 200 tattoos “burned off,” a process he called “horrible” and worse than getting inked.
The “King of Staten Island” star — who has modeled for brands like Calvin Klein, Alexander Wang, and Moose Knuckles — donned another casual look at the Empire State Building on Friday. He sported a gray hoodie with baggy black jeans that slouched around the ankles, giving way to Ugg’s popular Tasman clogs. He wore Ugg’s All Gender Tasman Weather Hybrid slipper in the “Smoke Plum/Black” colorway. Davidson accessorized with black sunglasses and a matching ball cap.
The Tasman clogs ($150) are crafted in waterproof suede and feature seam-sealed construction to keep the UGGplush upcycled wool lining dry. The galosh outsoles are made of renewable, rainwater-nourished sugarcane.
