'Brothers' is in select theaters Oct. 10, then streaming on Prime Video Oct. 17
Josh Brolin and Peter Dinklage play twins on a wild mission to make millions in their latest film.
On Tuesday, Sept. 17, Prime Video dropped the first trailer for Brothers, which stars Brolin, 56, and Dinklage, 55, as twins from a long line of criminals who reunite for one last score — and inadvertently reunite with their estranged mom (Glenn Close) along the way.
Brendan Fraser also stars in the trailer, intimidating Dinklage's character Mike into returning some valuable prized emeralds to him. As Mike explains via voiceover, he and Moke (Brolin) have always schemed together, but after Moke gets married, he turns away from a life of crime until Mike pulls him back in.
After the pair unexpectedly reunite with their mother after decades of estrangement, Mike hatches a plan for the three of them to work together and earn $4 million, with high-stakes action and hilarious moments to come.
Marisa Tomei, Taylour Paige, M. Emmet Walsh and Jennifer Landon also star in the film, directed by Max Barbakow (Palm Springs) and written by Macon Blair (The Toxic Avenger) based on a story from Etan Cohen.
Barbakow told Entertainment Weekly of seeing the star-studded cast let loose on set: "Like a murderer's row of esteemed actors who were so down to get silly and weird. It is quite a romp."
