Last week, two lucky acts were awarded the Golden Buzzer, putting them straight through to the Live Shows. The first was Terry Crews’ selection of 31-year-old Learnmore from Zimbabwe, who now lives in Pittsburgh. He demonstrated that he may be the first comedian to win the title with his act, which compared life in his small village in Zimbabwe to life in America. Simon called him “one of the funniest people ever.” The second was Heidi’s pick. She awarded her Golden Buzzer to 55-year-old Richard Goodall, a janitor from Terra Haute, Ind., who sang “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey and was as big of a vocal surprise as Susan Boyle was on Britain’s Got Talent.
