Pink Is 'Still a Rockstar' After She Suffers Wardrobe Malfunction on Her Birthday

While Pink was celebrating her 45th birthday backstage at her Summer Carnival Tour—presumably in Vancouver on Sept. 7, 2024, as she did not have a scheduled concert date on her actual birthday, Sept. 8—she had a little incident with the cake, causing a stark wardrobe malfunction.

In a new photo shared on Instagram on Monday, Sept. 9, the "So What" singer laughed giddily over a giant cake depicting herself blowing a large pink bubble, with a notable smearing of pink frosting dirtying her shimmering black costume across the bust.

"I might have gotten cake on my leotard," she wrote in the caption of the snap, adding, "(Thanks for all the love y’all) #thisis45??."

It's not clear if the incident came before she took the stage or after she wrapped the show, as the opening and final numbers both involve a sparkling black leotard, but she clearly wasn't bothered by the sticky situation, which looks to have taken place as she leaned forward to blow out the candles lining the top edge of the confection.

Fans appreciated the relatable glimpse coming from the touring artist, with one dubbing her "one of the greatest human beings" and another calling her the "Queen of all Queens" as they wished her "happy birthday!"

"HAPPY 45TH..." someone else wrote enthusiastically, assuring the musician, "YOU'RE STILL A ROCKSTAR ??????."
