‘Poker Face’ Adds Giancarlo Esposito, Katie Holmes, Gaby Hoffmann & Kumail Nanjiani To Season 2

Peacock added guest stars Kathrine Narducci (Euphoria), Sherry Cola (Shortcomings), Kevin Corrigan (Narcos: Mexico) and Ben Marshall (Saturday Night Live) July 23, but the details of their roles remain under wraps.
Previous: July 16: Peacock’s Emmy Award-winning series Poker Face revealed its first batch of Season 2 guest stars and they include Giancarlo Esposito (Better Call Saul, Parish), Katie Holmes (Our Town, Ray Donovan), Gaby Hoffmann (Transparent, Eric) and Kumail Nanjiani (Welcome to Chippendales, Only Murders in the Building). Details regarding who they will play are under wraps.
From creator, writer, director and EP Rian Johnson, Poker Face is a mystery-of-the-week series following Natasha Lyonne’s Charlie, who has an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying. She hits the road with her Plymouth Barracuda and with every stop encounters a new cast of characters and strange crimes she can’t help but solve.
In Season 1, the star-studded series has featured such guest stars as Adrien Brody, Ron Perlman, Chlo? Sevigny, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Stephanie Hsu, Clea DuVall, Dascha Polanco, Hong Chau, Megan Suri, Danielle Macdonald, Judith Light, Ellen Barkin, Tim Meadows, Jameela Jamil, Charles Melton, Rowan Blanchard and Rhea Perlman. For her portrayal of retirement home resident Irene Smothers, Light won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy.
Showrunner Tony Tost serves as executive producer for Season 2 alongside Rian Johnson, Natasha Lyonne, Ram Bergman, Nena Rodrigue, Adam Arkin, Nora Zuckerman and Lilla Zuckerman. Poker Face is T-Street’s Johnson and Bergman’s first television series and is produced by MRC, along with Natasha Lyonne, under her production banner Animal Pictures. Lyonne will again direct in Season 2.
Esposito is represented by CAA, Sugar23 and Jackoway Austen Tyerman; Holmes is represented by UTA, Untitled Entertainment and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern; Hoffmann is represented by Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment and Peikoff Mahan Law Office; Nanjiani is represented by UTA, Mosaic and Isaac Dunham.
