Post Malone announces free, surprise July Nashville concert

On July 16, Post Malone's entrenchment in Nashville's pop moment will escalate to unprecedented heights.

The reason? A free, exclusive Bud Light-sponsored "A Night in Nashville" concert event that (at a soon-to-be-named venue), via a press statement, will "bring fans 21+ closer to one of most highly anticipated album releases of the year."

Fans are encouraged to direct message Bud Light's Instagram or Facebook "A Night In Nashville" for information on how to enter for a chance to win tickets to the show through Bud Light's Easy Wishes sweepstakes platform.

Malone's continuing country moment

Malone offers that he "can't wait" to continue what has evolved into a six-month process of "(sharing) what I've been working on with everybody" that has included recently appearing with Lainey Wilson and Ashley Gorley at the Bluebird Cafe, Billy Strings at Bonnaroo and with Blake Shelton at CMA Fest events at Nissan Stadium and Ole Red's Spotify House activation.

As well, at events including November 2023's Country Music Association Awards, May's Academy of Country Music Awards and 2024's Stagecoach Festival, he's also been paired with Sara Evans, Reba McEntire, Brad Paisley, HARDY, Shelton, Wallen, and Dwight Yoakam as on-stage and in-studio collaborators while singing songs from a dozen country favorites—a diverse list spanning Tyler Childers and Sturgill Simpson to Joe Diffie and Alan Jackson.

His Nashville moments in 2024 have also included making his Ryman Auditorium debut in April 2024, by joining acts including Sam Hunt, Jon Pardi, Megan Moroney, Ben Rector, Ian Munsick, Nate Smith, Mat Kearney, Edwin McCain, Grace Bowers, and Lauren Watkins onstage for multimedia personality Bobby Bones' 7th Annual Million Dollar Show, which raised $215,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

At present, Malone's Morgan Wallen collaboration "I Had Some Help" has topped Billboard's all-genre Hot 100 chart plus, outside of Garth Brooks' "More Than A Memory" in 2007, it is the fastest-rising single on country's radio charts in 20 years.

Only five songs, including "I Had Some Help" and "More Than A Memory," have reached the top 10 on country's charts in under a month in a quarter century: Alan Jackson's "Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)," Darryl Worley's "Have You Forgotten?," Tim McGraw's "Live Like You Were Dying" are also among that quintet.

Post Malone's country album

Alongside singing Joe Diffie tunes with HARDY and Morgan Wallen at 2023's Country Music Association Awards, the multi-platinum "Rockstar" vocalist also sang a steel guitar-aided acoustic guitar rendition of "America The Beautiful" at Super Bowl LVIII.

This followed him spending considerable time in Nashville throughout the close of 2023 alongside artists including Paisley, Luke Combs, ERNEST, Jelly Roll, Wallen and more. Those trips seem to have yielded "I Had Some Help," plus the Blake Shelton duet "Pour Me A Drink."

Other highlight moments in years past that could offer clues to his forthcoming album's stylings include performances of Sturgill Simpson's "You Can Have the Crown" and Brad Paisley's "I'm Gonna Miss Her" during Matthew McConaughey's "We're Texas" fundraising event after Winter Storm Uri in 2021.

On Tuesday, Malone announced the name of his upcoming, "F-1 Trillion" album, expected to arrive Aug. 16.

“Post Malone is the hottest artist in the world and a loyal Bud Light partner and true fan of the brand. Bud Light has been so lucky to have a front row seat to his remarkable career over the years and we couldn’t be more excited to embark on this new era with him,” said Todd Allen, SVP of Marketing for Bud Light.

For over the past half-decade, Malone has been a pitchman for the Bud Light brand, including memorable moments like having Bud Light-branded sweatshirts and sweatpants sold at a New York City pop-up and online (while engaging in a Garth Brooks-style "Dive Bar" mini-concert tour), plus having his face emblazoned on Bud Light beer cans.
