Pan-India star Prabhas is currently on everyone’s mind following his impeccable performance in Salaar 2. The movie has left everyone in awe of the actor’s grandeur. Salaar is being called his comeback film as his movies after Baahubali 2 were highly criticized. As Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire ended at a cliffhanger, fans are eager to know more about Salaar 2. The actor recently spilled some beans about the movie.

Prashanth Neel helmed Salaar, while Hombale Films produced it. Apart from Prabhas, the film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu. The dark action drama came out on December 22 and received a lot of love from fans. The director, who is known for creating the KGF film series, has made another universe with Salaar. He worked on the film for years and now it has already minted over a whopping $45 million at the box office.

Prabhas on Salaar 2: ‘Sequel will push the boundaries’

There is a massive buzz around Salaar 2 but the makers and cast are keeping hush-hush about it. During a recent conversation with Pinkvilla, Prabhas spilled some beans on the upcoming sequel without giving away juicy details. The actor said, “The audience can anticipate the continuation of the intense and gripping storyline with new layers added to the characters in Salaar 2. The sequel will push the boundaries and we cannot wait to deliver it to the audience.”

While everyone is eagerly waiting for the film’s release, the actor revealed details on when it might go on floors. Prabhas said, “The shooting schedule is currently in the planning stage. The story is ready, so hopefully, you will get the date soon.”

On the work front, Prabhas will be next seen in Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD. Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, and Kamal Haasan will be playing key roles in the film. He also has Spirit with Sandeep Reddy Vanga in the pipeline.
