The Malayalam romantic comedy movie Premalu has seemingly impressed the audience. Along with the romantic sequences and gags, the movie has the right amount of drama. The film, which stars Naslen and Mamotha Baiju in the lead roles, was released alongside Mammootty’s Bramayugam and gave the latter tough competition at the box office. As it has been weeks since the film’s release, the latest report suggests it is being dubbed in Telugu. Here are the details about its release date and more.

Girish A.D. has directed Premalu, while Bhavana Studios has bankrolled it at an alleged budget of $362k. Shyam Mohan, Sangeeth Prathap, and Akhila Bhargavan were roped in to play supporting characters.

Like its competitor Bramayugam, the movie will likely be dubbed in Telugu.

Premalu Telugu-dubbed version to be released by SS Karthikeya?

According to a report by OTTplay, Premau’s Telugu version is expected to be out after the first week of March. Celebrated director SS Rajamouli’s son SS Karthikeya is allegedly planning to release the Telugu-dubbed version on March 8, 2024. The publication also revealed that the movie’s dubbing rights were sold at a whopping price.

Fans demand a Telugu version of the movie after catching it in Hyderabad. Official announcements are to be made soon, and the film’s Telugu dub release date is also expected to be confirmed at the latest.

So far, Premalu has earned several times its budget despite the competition it faced from its counterparts. The film follows the story of a young man who tries to get back on his feet after failing in academics. While he dreams of moving to the UK, his fate brings him to Hyderabad. His life takes a major turn when he crosses paths with Reenu. After falling for Reenu, he tries to woo her and win her heart. What happens next forms the plot of the film.
