‘Price Is Right’ Contestant Calls His Shot and Wins a Car on ‘This Week in Game Shows’

On The Price Is Right, a contestant from Minnesota told Drew Carey that he told his six sons that he was going to win a car. Wouldn’t you know it, he got the chance to win a car. Playing Cover Up, it came down to his very last chance, and he had two numbers to choose from to cover up the last incorrect number. Carey read the correct price, and the contestant was able to do what he told his sons he would.

Saying you’re going to go on The Price Is Right and win a car is one thing. Saying you’re going to go on The Price Is Right and win a car, then actually getting your name called, and playing a game in which the prize is a car, and winning that car is another. The perfect combination of bravado and luck.

On Wheel of Fortune, a contestant was supposed to name a living thing. Instead she named something that doesn’t even exist, and if it did exist it would be made up of a combination of things that are definitely not living.

And on Family Feud, a family found out a little too much about their parent when the father was asked where the smallest place is he’s ever made love. The mother was in the audience with her hands over her face. But it worked out for the family, because the answer was on the board.
