Prince Harry & Prince Williams’ Bond Could Be Healed Thanks To This Band's Long-Awaited Reunion, Per Expert
Reconciliation seems to be in the air, and it just might be time for Prince William and Prince Harry to heed Oasis’s advice to “Don’t Look Back in Anger.” While those who have been following the two prince’s royal feud, Britpop fans are witnessing what once seemed impossible: Noel and Liam Gallagher officially reuniting Oasis. As these Britpop legends mend their decades-long rift, royal experts think that it could inspire Princes William and Harry to follow suit after their longstanding feud.
Summer 2024 was jam-packed for the royals, with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle making headlines during their brief visit to Colombia and significant involvement in the Invictus Games. However, the ongoing tension between Harry and William persisted, going all the way back to Harry’s 2018 wedding when tensions escalated due to his press-related legal battles. In August, a glimmer of hope emerged when Harry discreetly visited the UK for his uncle Lord Robert Fellowes’ funeral. Although both brothers attended, they maintained their distance, showing that while there still may be a rift, the two could potentially be on talking terms sometime soon.

For those who aren’t as familiar with Oasis, the band was started by the Gallagher brothers, Noel and Liam. The two, like Princes Harry and William, are often known first for their blistering relationship. Their achievements, like their “Wonderwall,” a track that gets over a half a million streams a day, often take a backseat to the feud news. Oasis became a defining force in Britpop, releasing iconic albums like “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?” in 1995.

However, fame came with a lot of friction for the brothers, and by 1996, their U.S. tour was plagued by internal strife. The band ultimately called it quits in 2009, amid lawsuits and public arguments, with even a £20 million reunion offer in 2013 failing to bring them back together.
But then the seemingly impossible happened. Oasis just announced a 14-date UK and Ireland tour set for 2025, causing ticket sites to crash. Still, all the excitement around the Oasis reunion, even from non-music fans, has inspired hope, with PR expert Riley Gardiner suggesting that the Gallaghers might even as inspiration for the royal brothers.
“The brothers actually repairing their relationship speaks to many. High-profile families reconciling like this, especially as a band that will go on to tour and show off this reconciliation in front of millions, will strike a chord with fans – perhaps even prompting the royal brothers to reflect on their own ties.” Gardiner told Express. “Both the stories of Liam and Noel and William and Harry have a rich history laced with conflict and separation, and both have a lot of public anticipation surrounding them.”
“Just as tabloids are keen to capture any hint of Gallagher reconciliation, they remain vigilant for signs of rapport between William and Harry. The poignant idea of a band mending fences after hardship could definitely inspire hope for the future of familial relationships,” Gardiner concludes. As Oasis prepares to step back into the spotlight, the possibility of harmony for Harry and William feels a little more tangible.
