Prince Harry Stole the Hearts of Zombies in Jimmy Fallon's 'Tonightmares' Haunted Maze
Prince Harry’s week in New York City wasn’t just all work, he found some time for fun. In between his meeting at the United Nations and with the Clinton Global Initiative, the Duke of Sussex stopped by The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon for some spooky fun with an unexpected twist that even the late-night host didn’t see coming.
Tourists can enjoy Jimmy Fallon’s Tonightmares, a “haunted maze experience” now through Oct. 31 at Rockefeller Center. It seemed like the perfect place to bring Harry for some “unnerving surprises lurking around every corner.” The Duke of Sussex seemed game for the adventure and swore that he was “not normally” scared, “but today might be different.” The men went into the maze with cameras strapped around their necks to record their reactions to the scare actors — uh, we mean zombies — ahead. It was the perfect spooky season moment.

Harry’s casual attitude quickly turned to a few bleeped curse words as he gamely entered the maze with Fallon. They screamed and laughed with Harry jumping at a zombie panda. “You’re afraid of pandas,” joked Fallon.
“No, I’m not,” Prince Harry said, sounding a little terrified.
The jump scares continued until about three-quarters of the way through when Fallon and Harry walked into a room with two zombies — one was trying to get them to scream while another was busy eating the guts of a dead body. After one of the scare actors returned to her hiding position, she appeared to be heavy breathing and astonished by her famous guests. The camera caught her and her co-worker discussing what had just happened.
“Who was that?” asked the flesh-eating zombie.
The excited zombie walked over to her friend and whispered, “Prince Harry!” The hungry zombie put her hand up to her mouth in shock and fanned herself while her friend’s jaw dropped to the floor, and she went back to her hiding position. Harry might be married to Meghan Markle, but he’s still a royal heartthrob to many!
Fallon later appeared before his studio audience and imitated the lovestruck zombies, “Oh, it’s Prince Harry,” he joked while fanning himself. It was a well-played cameo by the Duke of Sussex and a reminder that he seems game for anything in his post-royal life.
