“Rachel is as hilarious as she is charming,” said Amy Gravitt, executive vice president of HBO and Max comedy programming. “With Lorene and Emma, she has captured the comedy and the beauty that happens when friendships collide with our best laid plans. We’re thrilled to be continuing our collaboration with this talented team and this exquisite cast.”
The official logline for the series states, “A codependent friend group reunites, navigating how the time apart, ambition, and new relationships have changed them.” Along with Sennott, the cast includes Odessa A’zion, Jordan Firstman, Miles Robbins, and True Whitaker.
“I’m so grateful to Amy and HBO for the opportunity to make this show and the wonderful team that has been a part of creating it,” Sennott said. “And I’m going to come up with a title soon I promise!”
Sennott has previously appeared in HBO shows like “The Idol” and “High Maintenance.” She recently co-starred in and co-wrote the 2023 comedy feature “Bottoms,” with “The Bear” breakout Ayo Edebri also starring. She and Edebri previously worked together on the Comedy Central series “Ayo and Rachel are Single.” Sennott’s other acting credits include “Bodies, Bodies, Bodies” and “Shiva Baby.”
