Rapper Playboi Carti drops new song 'All Red.' But social media is hungry for his new album.

Playboi Carti teased new music on social media Thursday, but some fans are frustrated by the rapper’s delay in dropping the forthcoming album.

The Atlanta rapper behind “Magnolia” and numerous features, including Travis Scott’s “FE!N” last year and Camilla Cabello’s “I Luv It”” earlier this year, posted on Instagram with a caption that said, “I Am Music.” He referred to it as an album and wrote “link in bio,” directing fans to his website.

But clicking through his website revealed merchandise, including a hooded sweatshirt, t-shirts, and a hat, not an album. The merchandise description does refer to an album, though.,

“Album release date to be announced," the description said.

The social media post left some fans disappointed that his website didn’t take them to a new album but instead to merch.

“If you hate us, just say it,” one user wrote, garnering a few hundred likes as of Friday morning.

Another comment, which saw nearly 2,000 likes, said, “Bro is NOT music.”
