Which ‘Real Housewife’ would Melissa Gorga want to collaborate with?
As all Housewives know, the show’s platform provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to peddle your goods, and Gorga seized the moment during her third season on the show when she let viewers watch as her singing dreams came to life. Not necessarily original in the realm of Housewives, the “On Display” singer opened up about which other Bravolebrity she’d want to share the stage with. No question — Erika Jayne was her answer. “We would just like put on a G-string and rock it somewhere in diamonds and furs,” says Gorga.
Speaking of world-famous stage performers, Gorga eagerly answered The Morning Breath’s question of who Gorga’s girl crush is — not an unfamiliar inquiry for anyone who’s sat across from Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live. “There’s really only one that I want to french kiss. And that’s Jennifer Lopez,” she said. “I’ve always been attracted to swag.”
In between running her clothing boutique, Envy, and spending time at her in-home recording studio, Gorga had been busy managing the family’s Italian restaurant, Gorga’s Homemade Pasta & Pizza in East Hanover, N.J., which she confirmed on Wednesday is closing.
Melissa and husband Joe, along with Joe’s sister, Teresa Giudice, opened the family establishment over the summer to honor their late mother, Antonia Gorga, who passed away a year ago. Just a few months after opening, however, the Gorgas faced rumors that they were closing. “I can speak about it mildly, because it’s a major situation unfortunately,” Gorga said on Wednesday.
Pressed to elaborate, she explained, “We were having issues with the management and the way they were running it. There was a couple shady things going on.”
For fans of the eatery and those waiting to try it, Gorga promises, “There is going to be a larger location. We are closing that particular location for reasons that you’ll hear very soon.”
