Reba McEntire and Melissa Peterman Hint at Wild Vacations Together: 'Karaoke and Margaritas'

On the Emmy Awards red carpet, the costars of 'Reba' and the upcoming 'Happy's Place' spoke about having fun together

Reba McEntire and Melissa Peterman are playing coy about the wild vacations they go on together.

The former stars of the beloved sitcom Reba, at first, refused to provide details on their fun times together when speaking to E! Live From the Red Carpet host Laverne Cox at the 2024 Emmy Awards on Sunday, Sept. 15.

“What is the wildest Reba and Melissa vacation moment that you can share — or maybe you shouldn't share?” Cox, 52, asked the Emmys presenters.

“No. Can’t. Can’t,” quipped McEntire, 69, in response.

McEntire jokingly pretended the interview was over before her longtime friend could reveal more. “We gotta go! They're running out of time, look at that,” she quipped.

The duo shed light on their friendship, which dates back to their former sitcom on The WB (now The CW). McEntire said she and Peterman take "vacations together, raise our kids together," adding, "We’ve known each other a long time."

They now share the screen again on NBC’s Happy’s Place, scheduled to premiere on Oct. 18. Peterman reacted to the news of her casting in March, when she wrote on social media, “This is why I have been smiling ALL the time… Buckle up @reba We are going to have some fun!”
