A 'red hot' setup: Matthew McConaughey, Hugh Grant are trying to set up their parents

It's not quite "The Parent Trap," but Matthew McConaughey and Hugh Grant might be forming a little family of their own by setting up their parents.
The co-stars of Guy Ritchie's crime and action movie "The Gentlemen," which hits the big screen Friday, are playing cupid for their own parents: They've set up McConaughey's mother, Mary Kathlene McCabe, and Grant's father, James Grant.
Discussing their holiday plans with Mashable in December, Grant asked McConaughey, "Would your 87-year-old mom like a nice 91-year-old Englishman?"
Now, it appears that the setup is coming to fruition.
"Next week, they're supposed to meet, and we probably won't see them for the rest of the night," McConaughey told Entertainment Tonight in a recent interview.
Grant, 59, joked that their encounter would certainly be "red hot."
If the match fizzles, McConaughey, 50, said his only requirement for future matches for his mom is that the bachelor be over 85 years old.
"The Gentlemen" features Mickey Pearson (McConaughey), an American ex-pat with a "marijuana empire" in London who is looking to get out of the business. It also stars Charlie Hunnam, Henry Golding, Michelle Dockery, Colin Farrell and Eddie Marsan.
