Ree Drummond’s ‘Super Normal’ Dinner Party With Lookalike Sister Praised by Fans: ‘Sis-Cuterie’

Ree Drummond impressed fans with a look at the down-to-earth dinner party she recently enjoyed with her sister and best friend.

The Pioneer Woman host shared a short video clip on social media on Wed., June 19 that showed her lookalike sister, Betsy, and friend, Cyndi Kane (known by fans as “Hyacinth”), seated at a table while enjoying an evening together. A charcuterie board was placed in front of them, and the trio appeared to be enjoying some Prosecco poured from a bottle that sat near the edge of the table. Small plates and water glasses were also set out around the table.

The Food Network star’s sister and friend were chatting together, though Drummond muted their conversation for her Instagram video and replaced it with a clip from John Denver’s “Poems, Prayers and Promises.” After Dummond, 55, panned the camera across the table, she ended the video with a look at the view outside her kitchen window, which showed large stretches of green grass, trees and a blue sky.

It was a “pull-random-stuff-out-of-the-fridge-and-catch-up evening with Bets and Hyacinth,” Drummond wrote in her Instagram caption. “So good for the heart/mind/soul.??.”

Kane responded to the sweet video directly, writing in the comment section, “I loved every second of it??!”

Several fans also seemed to love the bonding portrayed in the video, with one person playfully dubbing it a fun evening of “Sis-cuterie ??.”

“Sounds like a lovely time was had by all ??,” one fan commented as another said the kind of get-together Drummond described was the “absolute best type of visit.”

“Pulling Random Stuff parties needs to be a thing...it's super normal and friends need to help you eat the odds and ends,” one Instagram user pointed out.

“Hanging out with friends simply the Best!” another fan said.
