Report: Update On Jay White’s Recovery, Status For AEW All In

A new report provides an update on Jay White amid his ongoing absence.

AEW star Jay White has been absent in recent weeks. He last wrestled on the July 6 episode of AEW Collision. He has not appeared on AEW television recently, and he has missed the road to AEW All In.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that White is healing up from an injury, and he was said to be getting closer to a return to the ring. Per Sapp, White was at last week’s television taping, where he was getting checked on for a potential return. However, White did not appear ready as of that point. Initially, several people backstage had been hopeful that White’s return was imminent.

Sapp writes that White was considered for AEW All In at one point, but there is no word on whether he made the trip to London. The report notes that White was discussed for the Casino Gauntlet match. But as of last week, he was not cleared, though he was improving.
