Rita Ora Moved To Tears Remembering Liam Payne During Live Show: “I Can’t Even Sing This Right Now”
Rita Ora is mourning the loss of Liam Payne and broke down in tears during a live presentation.
The singer was performing a show in Japan following the news that Payne had died. Ora and the former One Direction bandmate had a duet together for the movie Fifty Shades Freed, which she starred in.

“I can’t even sing this right now,” Ora said during the show about the song “For You” as an image of Payne and her was shown in the background.
Ora was emotional during the performance she couldn’t sing as the music continued playing in the background.

The singer shared a social media tribute following news of Payne’s death.
“I’m devastated,” Ora posted on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. “He had the kindest soul, I will never forget. I loved working with him so much – he was just such a joy to be around on and off stage. This tragic news breaks my heart. Sending all my love and prayers to his family and loved ones. Our song For You takes on a whole new meaning for me now. R.I.P.”

Payne died in Buenos Aires, Argentina, after falling off a balcony from a hotel’s third floor. According to a preliminary autopsy report by the local Public Prosecutor’s Office, Payne died of “multiple trauma” and “internal and external hemorrhage” as the result of the fall.
The prosecutor’s office said as a matter of protocol, the incident is being investigated as a “doubtful death,” even though it seems that the musician was alone when the fall occurred.
