Robert Pattinson Advises Child Stars to Seek Therapy, Thinks Justin Bieber's ‘All Right’
Robert Pattinson has some advice for child stars navigating Hollywood — therapy is your friend.
The former “Twilight” star told Vanity Fair at the Cannes Film Festival that the young, entitled child actor character in his Hollywood-centric film, “Maps to the Stars,” is terrifyingly accurate to real-life youngsters exposed to the glitz and glam of Tinseltown.

“I think Benjie is probably the truest character. I've met a lot of kids like him. The scene with him and the little girls bitching about everybody — you just see that a lot,” Pattinson said. “When you see these kids, there is only one way: you either get in therapy now or become a serial killer, or kill yourself. I mean, you can see it really early on — it's terrifying.”
Pattinson avoided the tragic pitfall reflected in the David Cronenberg film because his international stardom didn't arrive until after he lived outside the limelight for 21 years.

“I didn't star in ‘Twilight' until 21. It's different because you're still young, but you've had a life beforehand,” Pattinson said. “Where as if you are 10, it's a totally different thing.”
While pop star sensation Justin Bieber has had his fair share of legal trouble since hitting it big at 14 — and a pompous reputation further cemented by Seth Rogen — Pattinson described Bieber as an okay guy.
“I've met him before, though, on his party bus. [Laughs.],” Pattinson said. “I've met him a couple of times. He's all right. [Laughs.]“
