Rosalia went edgy with a unique boot recently. The singer was spotted wearing a black and brown leather and pony hair Rick Owens boot in New York City.
The singer often opts for edgy footwear including black boots. When she attended the Christian Dior show earlier this year she wore a pair of black combat boots.
About the shoe
The Rick Owens boot Rosalia wore has a little bit of everything. The boot is built on a 3-inch version of the company’s Cantilever heel. That signature design is a sculpted feat of architecture, supporting the entire foot in the toe and ball of the foot, without a heel in the back as is expected of most footwear.

The boot features lamb leather that is gathered and bunched up to the knee around the leg and the back of the foot in a style akin to the trending second-skin boot silhouette. The top of the foot features strips of leather as well as long hair pony wrapped around the shoe. One of the strips is a lighter shade of brown. The footwear is finished off with an open toe that is barely visible.
Rick Owens: An American Legacy
American designer Rick Owens has become known for his distinctive approach to fashion. The creative has built one of the most sizeable businesses in American high fashion, largely rejecting the status quo.
An important aspect of that business has long been footwear, with styles like the signature Cantilever heel and a bevy of sneakers like his ever-popular Geobasket sneaker—that shoe was first launched in 2008. Over the years, Owens has collaborated with the likes of Dr. Martens, Adidas and Converse on popular styles.
