Rosamund Pike Joins Lionsgate’s ‘Now You See Me 3’
Rosamund Pike (Saltburn) has come aboard for a role in the third installment of Lionsgate’s magic-themed franchise, Now You See Me, which has thus far grossed over $687MM worldwide.
While specifics as to her role are under wraps, it’s described as “pivotal.” As previously announced, the threequel will see Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, and Morgan Freeman reprise. Others who have come aboard in new roles include Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, and Ariana Greenblatt.

While the plot for Now You See Me 3 is unclear at this point, it reintroduces audiences to the thieving illusionists known as the Four Horseman while introducing audiences to a new generation of magicians. Bobby Cohen and Secret Hideout’s Alex Kurtzman are producing, with Meredith Wieck and Erin Jones-Wesley overseeing the project for Lionsgate. Robert Melnik made deals for the studio.
Pike is coming off of another pivotal performance in Emerald Fennell’s Amazon MGM thriller Saltburn, which brought her nominations at the BAFTAs and Golden Globes. Next, shell be seen leading Babak Anvari’s psychological thriller Hallow Road, on which we were first to report, also cameoing in Lionsgate & Guy Ritchie’s In the Grey.
In recent years, Pike has also played the iconic sorceress Moiraine Damodred in Prime Video’s epic fantasy The Wheel of Time, which returns for its third season in 2025. The actress is repped by CAA, United Agents, and Magnolia Entertainment.
