Rumer Willis Celebrates Her 36th Birthday With an Ethereal Beachside Photo With Daughter Louetta
Rumer Willis‘ birthday post shows how she and her daughter Louetta are photogenic Queens, and they can take a truly ethereal pic!
On Aug 18, Willis shared a series of truly heartwarming snapshots of her and her daughter Louetta. She shared the photos on her Instagram in honor of her 36th birthday, with the caption reading, “When I told Lou mommy was turning 36!!”

She said, “My tiny girl you are every birthday wish I’ve ever had come true. You are my soulmate and the love of my life. This last year has been so wild and challenging and beautiful and you are such a light. I am so grateful for you. For your tenderness and love. I learned so much this year. So much about myself. I feel more free and happier than I have been in a long time.”
Willis then discussed some lyrics she wrote about being true to herself, finding “strength inside myself,” and “to be delighted and surprised by magic every day.”
She ended the caption by saying, “To remember who I am, loving all parts of me unconditionally. To continue walking this path I have set upon and see what I discover along the way. The wild, the messy, the strange, the wonderful. Just you and me kid, it’s all magic. I’m so lucky I get to share life with you.”
In the first two photos, we see Willis and Louetta matching facial expressions, followed by pics of Willis kissing Louetta’s nose, breastfeeding on the beach, cuddling together, and playing on the beach. As if we weren’t already in a cuteness overload, Willis then shared a pic of slide four that is the definition of ethereal.
On slide four of the carousel post, in the beachside, sunset-clad photo, we see Willis looking like a Grecian goddess in a flowing orange dress, holding onto her mini-me Louetta, who looks like a lil cherub in a yellow dress that matches her mom’s shining blonde hair.
First off, happy belated birthday to Rumer, and secondly, this post is so beautiful, and we always love to see this mother-daughter duo!
For those who don’t know, in April 2023, Willis and Derek Thomas welcomed their daughter Louetta.
In a recent interview with People, the RumerHasIt founder talked about how her intuition has never been stronger since becoming a mom and how she trusts it all the more. “As soon as I had her, it was like everything really clicked into place. It was exactly what I thought it would be. It also gave me a gift of knowing to trust my own intuition about what is right for me. I’ve never been happier in my life that I have this tiny little niblet,” she said.
