RUMOR: The Beatles Biopic Casts its Fab Four
The Beatles biopic has apparently locked in its core cast.
According to a rumor first reported by The InSneider, the actors who are set to play all four members of the iconic ‘60s band are Harris Dickinson, Paul Mescal, Barry Keoghan and Charlie Rowe.
They’ll star as John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison respectively, aka, one of the most beloved bands in the history of music.
It’s important to note the news hasn’t been confirmed, but if true, the film has bagged some of the best young talent in Hollywood. Dickinson, rumored as John Lennon, is best known for his roles in The King's Man and The Iron Claw.
Mescal, who’s rumored as Paul McCartney, is set to star in Gladiator 2. Mescal confirms that he fights baboons in Gladiator 2. Keoghan, who is reportedly playing Ringo Starr, made his name with Dunkirk and Saltburn. And Rowe, rumored as George Harrison, appeared in Rocketman.
Sam Mendes’ biopic of The Beatles is an ambitious four-part film event, with each film told from the perspective of a different band member.
Both Apple Corps Ltd. and The Beatles and their families have granted full life story and music rights for the project. It’s expected to start production in 2025 and release throughout 2027.
