Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Lady Gaga, and all the 2025 Grammys performers
Hosted for the fifth year by Trevor Noah, the 2025 Grammy Awards will take place on Feb. 2 and serve a dual purposes this year.
“The upcoming Grammy Awards won’t just be about celebrating and honoring the best in music this year, it will also show how the power of music can help rebuild, uplift and support those in need,” explains Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. “We are thrilled that so many artists in our community are banding together at this time to show support for their fellow music makers and others impacted by the recent wildfires.”

Benson Boone
The breakthrough star had one of the biggest hits of 2024 with “Beautiful Things,” which wasn’t nominated by the Grammys, but Boone did receive a nod for Best New Artist.
Sabrina Carpenter
Six albums into her career, Carpenter finally received her first recognition from the Recording Academy. She’s up for six awards, including Album of the Year (Short n’ Sweet), Record of the Year (“Espresso”), Song of the Year (“Please Please Please”), and Best New Artist. She’s one of only 15 recording artists to receive those four nominations in a single year.
Charli XCX
Until now, the British pop star had flown under the Grammy radar. Her only previous nominations were Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance as a featured artist on Iggy Azalea‘s “Fancy.” But she broke through this year with the critically hailed Brat, which is vying for Album of the Year, while “360” earned her a nom for Record of the Year. In all, she’s up for eight awards.
Jacob Collier
The multi-instrumentalist has so far won six Grammys for his musical arrangements out of 15 nominations. This year he’s a triple nominee: Album of the Year for Djesse Vol. 4, Best Global Music Performance for “A Rock Somewhere,” and Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella for “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”
Sheryl Crow
The rock star has nine Grammys out of 32 nominations including Best New Artist exactly 30 years ago. That same year she performed for the first time on the Grammy stage. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2023.
Doechii
The rapper’s breakthrough this year earned her three Grammy nominations: Best New Artist, Best Rap Performance for “Nissan Altima,” and Best Rap Album for Alligator Bites Never Heal.
Billie Eilish
The nine-time Grammy winner is a darling of the Recording Academy with previous victories for Album of the Year (When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?), two wins for Record of the Year (“Bad Guy” and “Everything I Wanted”), two wins for Song of the Year (“Bad Guy” and “What Was I Made For?”). and Best New Artist. This year she’s nominated for seven more awards, including Album of the Year for the third time for Hit Me Hard and Soft.
Cynthia Erivo
The Broadway star-turned-movie star is a Tony, Emmy, and Grammy winner for her breakthrough role in the stage musical The Color Purple. She has also been nominated for three Oscars, including Best Actress this year for Wicked.
Herbie Hancock
The legendary jazz musician has collected 14 Grammys out of 34 nominations thus far in his career, including Album of the Year for River: The Joni Letters. He has also received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, a Kennedy Center Honor for his contributions to the arts, and an Oscar for Best Original Score for Round Midnight.
Brittany Howard
She’s a five-time Grammy winner, counting her work both as a solo artist and as the frontwoman for the band Alabama Shakes. This year’s She’s nominated for Best Alternative Music Album for What Now?
Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga has won 13 Grammys out of 38 nominations. This year she’s nominated twice for the chart-topping single “Die With a Smile,” her duet with Bruno Mars: Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
John Legend
He’s one of 21 EGOT recipients, having won Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Awards throughout his career. He has collected 12 Grammys total and is currently nominated for three awards: Best Children’s Music Album for My Favorite Dream, Best Arrangement, Instruments and Vocals for “Always Come Back,” and Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella for “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”
Bruno Mars
Mars is a Grammy darling with 15 golden gramophones won in his career so far. In fact, he’s undefeated in his last 13 nominations from the Recording Academy. This year he and Lady Gaga are nominated twice for their duet, “Die With a Smile”: Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Mars has won Song of the Year twice before, for “That’s What I Like” and “Leave the Door Open.”
Chris Martin
The Coldplay frontman is a seven-time Grammy winner, including Song of the Year for the band’s hit “Viva La Vida.” Most recently they were nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album two years ago for Music of the Spheres.
Janelle Monáe
The musician and actress is a 10-time Grammy nominee, including Album of the Year for Dirty Computer and The Age of Pleasure. She’s also an Emmy winner for the short form program “We the People” and a Screen Actors Guild Award winner as a member of the Hidden Figures ensemble cast.
Brad Paisley
The country star is a three-time Grammy winner out of 18 career nominations. He made his Grammy performing debut in 2001, and his most recent victories came 16 years ago when he claimed Best Country Instrumental Performance for “Cluster Pluck” and Best Male Country Vocal Performance for “Letter to Me.”
Raye
The multitalented British artist received her first three Grammy nominations this year: Best New Artist; Songwriter of the Year, Non-Classical; and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical for her work on R&B artist Lucky Daye‘s Algorithm.
Chappell Roan
The newcomer enjoyed a steady rise with her debut album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess and the subsequent standalone single “Good Luck, Babe!” Now she’s nominated for six Grammys and is one of only 15 recording artists ever to receive nominations across all of the big four general field categories: Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist.
Shaboozey
The breakthrough country artist had historic success with his single “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” which spent 19 weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100, tying the record for the longest run at No. 1 ever. Now he’s nominated for five Grammys including Song of the year for “A Bar Song” and Best New Artist.
Shakira
The legendary Latin star Shakira is up for Best Latin Pop Album this year for Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran. She has won this category twice before, for her MTV Unplugged set and El Dorado. She also won Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album for Fijación Oral Vol. 1. At the Latin Grammys, she has been even more successful, collecting 14 trophies over the course of her career.
St. Vincent
The rock and alternative favorite has won three Grammys including Best Alternative Music Album for St. Vincent and Daddy’s Home. This year she’s nominated for four awards: Best Alternative Music Album for All Born Screaming, Best Rock Performance for “Broken Man,” Best Rock Song for “Broken Man,” and Best Alternative Music Performance for “Flea.”
Teddy Swims
The relative newcomer enjoyed a breakthrough year in 2024, which earned him a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. He dominated the charts with his single “Lose Control,” which was named Billboard‘s No. 1 song of the year on the Hot 100 chart. But that song was released too early to qualify for this year’s awards.
Lainey Wilson
She won her first Grammy in 2024 for Best Country Album (Bell Bottom Country). She’s nominated this year for that same award for Whirlwind. She additionally contributed music to Twisters, which is nominated for Best Compilation Soundtrack.
Stevie Wonder
One of the most celebrated artists in the history of recorded music, Wonder has won a whopping 25 Grammys including three for Album of the Year: for Innervisions, Fulfillingness’ First Finale, and Songs in the Key of Life. He’s also an Oscar winner and a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame. In 2014 he received the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
