Sabrina Carpenter Picks Out Towering Louboutin Heels for the ‘SNL50: The Anniversary Special’
Sabrina Carpenter has proven on many occasions that she’s not afraid of a sky-high heel. The pop star stuck with her go-to footwear style — an eye-catching platform — to attend “SNL50: The Anniversary Special” in New York City on Feb. 16, showcasing a pair of beige Louboutin stiletto sandals.
Just two weeks after rocking on stage at the Grammys in custom bejeweled Mary Jane pumps from the French brand, Carpenter was on hand to celebrate the milestone anniversary of the NBC late night comedy series, bridging generations of music as she performed a duet with none other than Paul Simon.

Carpenter was dripping in jewels courtesy of her dress, a semi-sheer beige gown with elaborate embellishments. Dangling crystals and pearls swished from the fitted garment, offering her look a sense of movement. The gown also featured an asymmetrical off-the-shoulder sleeve, adding intrigue to the silhouette. Her signature blonde waves were on display in addition to sparkling rings and glamorous stud earrings.
Visible through her semi-sheer skirt, the “Espresso” singer appeared to be wearing Christian Louboutin’s Loubi Queen Alta shoes. The sandal style features a minimalist upper including a strap across the toes and two slender straps at the ankle. While this aspect of the shoe is understated, the sandals nevertheless turn heads with a sizable platform and daring stiletto heels measuring 150 mm, which is equivalent to nearly six inches. The Loubi Queen Alta, which Christian Louboutin’s website reveals is “inspired by 1950s pin-up girls,” is marked at a price of $1,095.
As demonstrated again and again, Carpenter appreciates a gravity-defying footwear style. She recently showed off a pair of crystal-embellished platform mules from Kandee as part of her Vogue cover shoot; this is a brand she also showed love for at the Grammys in early February, donning two pairs at the event including a blue pair of platform satin mules on the red carpet. And she wore furry mules from the same designer when celebrating the release of “A Nonsense Christmas” in December. Discover more of her style below.
