Sally Field and Max Greenfield Make Out on ‘Ellen’

It was quite the eventful afternoon on Ellen Monday. Sally Field and Max Greenfield stopped by to promote their new movie, Hello, My Name Is Doris. The film features fantasy sequences in which the stars get intimate. “He is her fantasy life,” Field told Ellen while describing Greenfield’s character. “So the audience goes with her in her mind, and we had to shoot those fantasies. Hot damn.” The age difference between the two may raise eyebrows for some, but Greenfield didn’t see it that way. “I was like, ‘You’re Sally Field, and we’re making out right now,’” he said.

That comfort was very clearly on display during a game of “Heads Up!” After correctly guessing the first few categories, Ellen drew “making out.” This prompted Field to mount Greenfield as the two made out. Despite the answer being very obvious, Ellen let the two continue, clearly enjoying the silliness.
