Sally Field Dishes on Best and Worst Onscreen Kisses

Sally Field has been kissing a lot of guys lately. She played tonsil hockey with her Hello, My Name Is Doris co-star Max Greenfield on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and then she sucked face with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show. But on Watch What Happens Live Thursday, she just talked about kissing, namely the best and worst she’s experienced onscreen.

The Academy Award-winning actress said, “Best without a doubt is James Garner. I mean, he gets it.” James Garner must have been quite the kisser, because just her recollection of the kiss they shared was enough to make Sally flustered.

As for the worst? That honor went to media darling Tommy Lee Jones. Sally seemed reluctant to say his name and added, “He’s probably improved, I don’t know.” The two shared the kiss while working on the film Back Road, and she said it was so bad he later apologized.
